This condo, located in the San Francisco Pacific Heights district, featured the original 50's kitchen complete with metal cabinets. We totally gutted the kitchen and removed a hall coat closet, only to find a dead vertical gas pipe.
The Owner wanted a very European feel to the kitchen, so rich maple cabinets with a special finish and crown molding were selected.
The new travertine floor floated on top of a heated pad, adding a luxurious feel to the room.
